Double degree

NYIT, New-York – AIT, Sidney

The ECV is a school with an open outlook on the world that has been able to successfully adapt to the expectations of its students, especially in terms of mobility. In addition to the training the school offers, a double degree has been integrated into the curriculum. Students have the possibility of spending a year abroad in the United States or in Australia, allowing them to obtain a degree recognized worldwide. For ECV students, this is an exceptional opportunity to become immersed in another programme and to complete courses through a different pedagogical and cultural approach. Entering a double degree programme also means extending one’s personal and professional network to other countries and thus furthering professional opportunities.

New-York Institute of Technology

For students in the Design degree course, a Bachelor of Fine Arts is offered in partnership with the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in New York City.

This programme  is open to students admitted into Year 4 and the grants the  opportunity to study at NYIT for one year to obtain an American degree,  a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design (Bac + 4). This programme is intended for Year 4 students enrolled in the Design degree course. Students may begin registering in the third year.  The programme is held over a  9-month period (September to May) and is taught entirely in English by an academic faculty comprised of, in particular, recognised professionals in their fields.

For an entire academic year, students enrolled at NYIT attend the same classes  as American students and benefit from a new way of teaching. The program is based on innovative studio design projects and classes specific to the profession of Artistic Director specialising in visual communication.

Entering a double degree programme offers students a genuine boost in their academic and professional careers. A programme with degree recognised by both France and the corresponding country is increasingly becoming an attractive advantage to national and international companies.

Students who have graduated with a BFA return to ECV for Year 5, at the end of which they obtain their state-certified French diploma (Bac +5).

Australian Institute of Technology

For students in the Animation degree course, a Bachelor of Interactive Media is offered in partnership with the Australian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Sydney.

The Design degree course already had a double degree and now the Animation degree course has its own—with a destination full of challenges ! Are you ready to live for a year in Australia ?

In partnership with the AIT of Sydney, this double degree is for students enrolled in Year 4 of the Animation course. This programme gives students the opportunity to study for one  year and thus obtain an Australian diploma: a Bachelor of Interactive Media (BIM) in Animation (Bac + 4).

Students may register for this programme  beginning in Year 2. Held for a period of 12 months (from October to October), this programme is taught entirely in English by an academic faculty comprised of recognised professionals in their fields.

For an entire year, students enrolled at AIT attend the same classes  as Australian students and benefit from a new way of teaching, with the goal of addressing a new teaching method, new approaches and new projects. With a more Game-oriented curriculum, the programme today is based on innovative projects and specific courses in animation and 2D and 3D video games.

Entering a double degree programme offers students a fantastic experience in their academic and professional careers. A programme with degree recognised by both France and the corresponding country is increasingly becoming an attractive advantage to national and international companies.

Furthermore, Anglo-Saxon programmes always include the cost of living in their planning, so  it is much easier for students to find a side job to help finance their stay and their studies.

Students who have graduated with their BIM return to ECV for Year 5, in order to complete their Master’s projects and to obtain their state-certified French diploma (Bac +5).
